ジョン・エヴァレット・ミレイ / sir john everett millais (1829〜96)

彼の「オフィーリア」という作品に学生時代、心奪われました。コロナが明けたら絶対テート・ギャラリーで本物にお目にかかりたい。あとミレイさん自身もイケメンという嬉しい特典付。

I fell in love with the painting of ophelia and have been a fan of sir john everett millais ever since. (Oh and sir millais looked like a handsome man too lol) I will definitely visit tate gallery once this pandemic is over.

「花嫁の付き添い」や「マリアナ」、「ソフィー・グレイ」も素敵。多分ミレイさんの女性の見た目の好みと、私が綺麗だと感じる女性の造形が近いんだと思います。

the bridesmaid, mairana, and sophie gray also are my favourites. I guess I have a similar taste for the look of “beautiful women” that sir millais had. I am straight but love anything beautiful.
